Spicy Whole-wheat Cornbread

Ingredients
- 1 cup whole-wheat pastry flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 3 tablespoons agave syrup
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 container (5.3 oz) plain Oikos (or other nonfat Greek yogurt)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 4-oz can diced jalapenos (hot or mild)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease an 8×8 baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, baking powder/soda and salt.
- Stir in yogurt, agave, chilies and eggs.
- Do not over mix, stir only until well blended. Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes or until center of the bread springs back when gently pressed.
